The LM blocks have a solid structure, with the balls built-in. As there is no deviation or distortion of the fitting surfaces, the accuracy does not decrease under loaded condition and high stiffness is obtained even in regard to floating loads. As the LM block installation part is tapped, this is most suitable for the build-up method with easy installation.

   Cylindrical spline nuts with a 120⁰ cut at one place are installed in a rigid cast iron case. As self-aligning is possible at the case fi8tting surfaces, use with rough installation is possible. Preload adjustment is possible with the clearance adjustment bolts of the LM blocks. The LM blocks can be installed easily from the top or from the bottom. The type HSR or the type SR is recommended when high rigidity in regard to floating loads is required.
